Cameron Peters offer neighbourhood walking tours on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.

Neighbourhood walking tours
Cape Town is rich in diverse history with every suburb and district having its own fascinating story. You could go on tours once every week for a full year, and you would still not have explored every nook and cranny of this incredible city. One of Cape Town’s best storytellers is Cameron Peters of Cape Town Heritage Tours. He offers two-hour neigbourhoods walking tours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – in areas as diverse as Sea Point, the Waterfront, the Liesbeek River area, Observatory, Woodstock and Muizenberg, among others.

Cameron calls himself the Mother City’s only professional psychogeographer. As the founder of Cape Town Heritage Tours, he has spent every weekend of the last five years enticing South Africans and tourists alike to get off their phones and rediscover the peninsula at street-level. Born and raised in Durban and educated at UCT and Keble College, Oxford, he’s been meaning to turn his library of fun-facts into feature-film screenplays but just keeps getting distracted by the city.

Simply contact us and specify the neighbourhood you want to explore and we will arrange the day and time.

Tours are available on a private group booking basis.  The minimum fee is R1200 for up to 6 guests, or R200 per person if you are more than 6 guests.

Fees exclude transport to and from the starting point. Cameron will specify where to meet him.
